Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $396 million; One second prize ticket sold

The jackpot in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game keeps rising up and is going to be up to a projected $396 million for the upcoming drawing on Tuesday. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $273.6 million. The amount was rolled over because nobody hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $376 million jackpot Friday night. The numbers drawn Friday night, January 21st, 2022 were 38-45-46-55-67 and the Mega Ball was 18, Megaplier was 2.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a single 2nd prize winner from Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all five lotto numbers except the Mega Ball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in will collect a quarter million dollar cash each.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 23 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Also, 458 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers.
