Go to any Texas Lottery retailer and ask for a Texas Lotto playslip. Then follow the following steps:
- Select your numbers:
Select 6 numbers from the numbers given on the Lotto Texas playslip from 1 to 54 on the play area of the playboard. You can select the Quick Pick option by marking the .QP. option if you want the computer to select the numbers randomly for you.
- Play multi-draw
You can play Multi-draw in Lotto Texas if you don.t want to miss any draws. The "Multi-Draws" option allows a player to play 10 consecutive draws in advance. Each draw will cost you $1.
- Choose your payment method
You can receive the Lotto Texas Jackpot prize in 25 annual payments, with each payment increasing every year. Mark the .25 annual payments. box to go with this option.
Mark the "Cash Value Option" if you want to receive the present prize amount of the Lotto Texas Jackpot. The Jackpot prize will always be less than the amount advertised. Sometime the Lotto Texas Jackpot prize is shared among multiple winners. Your playslip will get cancelled if you do not select a payment option.

The prizes above $1,000,000 must be claimed at Texas Lottery Headquarters in Austin personally. Jackpot prizes of Lotto Texas must be claimed at the commission Headquarters in Austin regardless of the amount you receive in the Jackpot.
All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of being enlisted after which you cannot claim the prize.
